TAUNTON’s James Poltimore travelled to Pembrokeshire at the weekend and came home with National Autograss Championship title.

Poltimore, sponsored by Deane Vale Motors Ltd, has been rewarded for months of dedication, determination and hard work.

After racing in the Southern League Autograss men’s Class 10, he now took on the top drivers in Britain – an achievement in itself.

At the finals, Poltimore took third place, then followed up with two firsts, to put himself in with the elite in the final race – where he beat all-comers to claim the title of Class 10 champion.

After a racing career of 28 years, Poltimore has finally achieved his dream, and a big thank-you goes to all the support received from his racing friends and family.
