Twos were recorded by Jeannie Leader, this year’s Lady Captain.

The 9-hole Stableford was won by Virginia Roach with 19 points, one ahead of second placed Maureen Hailes with 18.

Meanwhile, after enjoying a highly successful victory over Enmore at the end of July, T&P Seniors have had to wait a number of weeks to record another victory.

Defeats at Wells, Sherborne and Yeovil, followed by a defeat at the hands of Long Sutton at home, made the win over Lyme Regis 3½-2½ even sweeter.

There is plenty of golf remaining for the Seniors this season, so they will be looking for more success heading into September.

Congratulations to Bailey Langford, Kyle Miller and Charlie Hooper, who claimed the top three placings in the Junior European Open qualifier hosted by T&P on Monday.

Bailey took top spot with a gross 71, Kyle was second with 75, while Charlie was joint third with 79.

The top two are going to Spain for the finals in November and Charlie is a reserve.
