TAUNTON Tennis Club, run by Tone Leisure, held the grand finals of the Summer Orange Tournaments for children aged nine and under.

The tournament was closely contested and the standard of play was tremendous.

In the end the boys' tournament was won by Ben Giles, with Jonathen Barber the runner-up.

The other boys taking part in the finals included Tristan Coore, Harry Clark, Seb Fender and Dougal Colins-Smith.

The girls' tournament was won by Daniella Webb, with Kasia Pitak the runner-up. The other girls involved were Amy Shaw and Ola Pitak. Natalie Ayton was thanked for running the Orange series.
