THE Taunton ladies' rugby team hope the arrival of the men's World Cup can inspire a much-needed influx of new players to their club.
"We desperately need new players," a spokesperson said.
"Taunton is such a large place there must be ladies out there we are just not reaching.
"I desperately, as do my other team members, want to play rugby and enjoy the sport.
"If we don't recruit more players, our team will fold and we will be unable to play."
