BISHOPS Lydeard Ladies made it four wins out of four in the South West Women’s League Premier Division this season, by beating local rivals Ilminster Town Ladies 2-1 on Sunday.
Abigail Parr and Kayleigh Riley netted the hosts’ goals, with Ilminster substitute Shannon Crouch replying.
This Sunday sees table-topping Lydeard host third-placed Keynsham Town Development (ko 2pm).

IN the Somerset County Women’s League, Bishops Lydeard Reserves won 6-0 at Division 1 strugglers Wellington Ladies.
Sophie Lewis grabbed a hat-trick, with Mia Cridge, Andrea Selene and Sarah Lindsay also on target.
This coming Sunday, Lydeard Reserves entertain Purnell Sports, Ash Rangers go to Ilminster Town Reserves and Wellington host Portishead Reserves (all ko 2pm).
