BURNHAM-ON-SEA Cricket Club held their end of season awards over the weekend.
It was a mixed season for the club. The T20 XI won the league and cup double, but the Saturday teams were less successful - the first XI finished bottom of the Shrubbery Hotel Somerset League Premier Division and the second XI were second bottom in Division 6N.
Nonetheless, it was another enjoyable season for the club and the following players picked up awards:
First XI player of the year - Pete Harris
First XI batsman of the year - Brad House
First XI bowler of the year - Rob Driver
Second XI player of the year - Ben Adams
Second XI bowler of the year - Jack Morgan
Midweek XI batsman of the year - Dave Worthington
Midweek XI bowler of the year - Connor Lefrere
Clubman of the year - Ben Adams
Champagne moment - Roger Bucksey (one-handed diving catch at slip)
