Thomas Rew, Under-11 squash champion
KING'S Hall pupil Thomas Rew took part in the South West Regional Junior Squash Championships at the Victoria Club in Street on Sunday.
At the end of the tournament, Rew who plays his squash at the Wyvern Club in Taunton, won the Under-11 age group.
The King's Hall pupil was the only Somerset winner across the various boys’ age categories.
In the quarter-final Rew beat Isaac Watts of Dorset, 2-0; in the semi-final he beat Samuel Blumberg of Gloucestershire, 2-0; and in the final, he convincingly beat Benjamin Wills of Gloucestershire, 11-0, 11-1, 11-0.
