TAUNTON racegoers have got an extra race to look forward to this afternoon when the first of the seven races on the card, which have attracted 75 runners is due off at 12.25pm.
With good ground, another highly exciting afternoon of action looks to be in store for local punters.
Many of the leading trainers, including David Pipe, Paul Nicholls, Gary Moore, Harry Fry and Jeremy Scott have got runners, while top jockeys Tom Scudamore, Leighton Aspell and Harry Cobden, along with Bryony Frost, are all booked to ride.
The big race of the day is at 2.05pm where Billy Merriott and Samson are likely to start out as favourites.
