BRIDGWATER & Albion host Devonport Services on Saturday (3pm) in South West One West.

Devonport ran out 13-12 winners when the two sides met back in September.

Looking ahead to the match, Albion director of rugby Geoff Sluman said: “Services are just one place below us in the league but with exactly the same record, having played 15 and won nine.

“When we played them back in September we did not play at our best so we know we can do better, but they have also produced some really good results lately.

“We will be going into the game with confidence in our own ability and setting ourselves some high standards.”

A large number of Albion followers travelled to last Saturday’s away win at Cullompton, something which Sluman and the players were once again very appreciative of.

“The support we received at Cullompton was impressive and it honestly makes a difference to the team so please come on down to support if you can," he said.

North Petherton are also at home this weekend, with Lydney the visitors to Beggars Brook.

Pethy ran leaders Cornish All Blacks close in Launceston last weekend, eventually going down 37-27 and slipping to 11th in the table.

Lydney are ninth, but Pethy can leapfrog their visitors with a win this weekend.

In Somerset 2 South, Morganians host Burnham-on-Sea 2nds.
