ED Palmer is the fifth Taunton Town player to sign a contract through to the end of next season.
Yesterday the Peacocks announced that Ben Adelsbury, Ryan Brett, Ollie Chamberlain and Andrew Neal had all signed contract extensions through to the summer of 2020, and this lunchtime the club announced that centre-back Palmer has done likewise.

Palmer is a popular figure in the dressing room, having helped the Peacocks to the first round proper of the FA Cup in the 2016/17 season, scoring in the replay at Barrow.
He returned to Truro City last season, but then rejoined Taunton in November of this year on a non-contract basis after departing Truro, now managed by ex-Peacocks boss Leigh Robinson.
Palmer has slotted into the centre of Taunton's back three, and last month he scored a free-kick from inside his own half against Harrow Borough.
