South West Women’s League
Premier Division
Callington Town 4, Bishops Lydeard 4

A LAST-MINUTE own goal denied Bishops Lydeard Ladies in a see-saw encounter away to Callington Town Ladies on Sunday.

Lydeard twice fought from a goal down to level it up at 2-2 at half time, and twice they led in the second half, with their goals coming from Nicola Brown, Amber Guy-Kemp, Holly Miller and Abi Parr.

But Eleri Griffiths, Amy Hemingway and Keri-Ann Moxom were on target for the hosts, who snatched a point in the dying seconds when a cross came off a Lydeard defender and went into the net.

The result sees Lydeard drop to fourth in the Premier Division standings, and this Sunday they travel to third-placed Marine Academy Plymouth (ko 2pm).
