TWO former Heathfield Community School rugby stars are among three Taunton representatives set to feature for Exeter Chiefs this weekend.

Flanker Richard Capstick, 19, and 20-year-old scrum-half Joe Snow, both of whom attended Heathfield and represented Taunton Rugby Club as youngsters, have each been named in the Chiefs matchday squad to take on Bristol Bears in the Premiership Rugby Cup.

Capstick is starting at openside, with Snow named on the bench for Saturday's match at Ashton Gate, which begins at 3pm and is live on BT Sport.

In addition, starting fly-half Harvey Skinner, 21, attended The Castle School and came through the ranks at North Petherton RFC.

Capstick has recently been named in the England Under-20s squad for the upcoming Six Nations.

Snow, a promising footballer with Yeovil Town as a youngster before he switched sports, spoke to the County Gazette last year - click here to read the interview.

In further good news for Heathfield's rugby alumni today (Friday), former pupil Will Vaughan has signed his first senior contract with Bath Rugby.

Vaughan, a 20-year-old prop, said: "I feel very privileged to have signed my first senior deal with Bath Rugby, after being in the academy since I was 14 I feel I have really grown as a person and as a player."
