TAUNTON Town have confirmed that their league match with Swindon Supermarine, scheduled for tomorrow, has been postponed.
Chairman Kevin Sturmey told the County Gazette that there is three to four inches of snow on the pitch at the Viridor Stadium and a weather warning for ice tonight, so there is no chance of the game being played.
The Southern League has now rubber-stamped the postponement decision, and so the Peacocks' next fixture is away to Walton Casuals on Saturday, February 9 (ko 3pm).

WESTERN League sides Bishops Lydeard and Wellington AFC are also unlikely to play.
Lydeard had been due to host Keynsham Town and Wellington to entertain Plymouth Parkway, but that now seems unlikely.
Wellington tweeted this morning to say that:
Here’s the scene ... the visit of @PlymouthParkway tomorrow could be slightly doubtful! pic.twitter.com/yZm4n49PTY

The Somerset County League also took the decision at lunchtime today to postpone all of tomorrow's matches.
The league tweeted: "This decision has been taken by the directors in the interests of safety, not only of pitches but also travel to grounds."
That means a weekend off for Minehead AFC, Staplegrove and Watchet Town.
