TWO ex-Taunton RFC players, now of Exeter Chiefs, have suffered Six Nations disappointment at the announcement of the England and Scotland squads today.

England prop Ben Moon, having started the defeat to Wales in Cardiff two weeks ago, drops to the bench for this Saturday's match with Italy (ko 4.45pm).

Leicester Tigers' Ellis Genge takes his place at loosehead prop, as one of five changes made to the starting line-up by head coach Eddie Jones.

Moon's Exeter team-mate Sam Skinner has missed out a place in Scotland's squad to face Wales on Saturday (ko 2.15pm).

Skinner was forced off just 14 minutes into his Six Nations debut for Scotland against Italy on February 2, but he has now returned from his ankle injury.

He was one of eight players added to the squad by head coach Gregor Townsend on Monday, but Townsend has opted for different second and back row options in his matchday 23.
