A PAIR of Taunton Town hotshots were celebrating a landmark achievement this week in 1999.
Strike partners Antony Lynch and Ellis Laight, pictured above with manager Russell Musker, centre, had chalked up 100 goals for the football club that season.
The feat made them the top-scoring strike partnership in non-league football.
The success had seen Lynch already become a target for high-flying Forest Green Rovers.
Meanwhile, the club was left disappointed in the same week after losing the Somerset Premier Cup final after a penalty shootout against Clevedon during a tight match at Yeovil.
