TAUNTON may be in the grips of Cricket World Cup fever tomorrow but the hard-fought club games take place as usual, with some entertaining West of England Premier League clashes in prospect.

At the Wvyern Club, Taunton St Andrew's are going for their third straight win as they welcome struggling Cheltenham in Premier 1.

The newly-promoted visitors have lost each of their five games so far, while the Saints - and in particular the in-form James Regan - are starting to hit their straps.

Taunton Deane are sitting pretty at the top of Premier 2 Bristol/Somerset after five straight wins, and their unbeaten start faces a stern test at third-placed Bishopston on Saturday.

In the same division, Taunton face what skipper Hugh Kelly is calling a "must-win game" against bottom side Keynsham at Taunton Vale.

Taunton Deane 2nds host Minehead in the Somerset Division, while Wellington are on the road to Bridgwater 2nds.

All matches start at 12.30pm.
