IT was very much a family affair when Taunton St Andrews 4th XI played against Fitzhead in the Monmouth Scientific Somerset League on Saturday.
The Saints team consisted of two grandfathers who were playing with five grandsons!
Both the grandfathers, Alan King and Alan Parsons, have been St Andrew's stalwarts for many years and their experience is proving invaluable in bringing along another new generation of cricketers at the club.
King played with his two grandsons Toby Warner, 14 and 13-year-old Elliot Warner, who both attend Heathfield School, while Parsons senior played alongside grandson Alex Parsons, who is 14 and attends Castle School.
