TAUNTON Town are seeking a first win since September 7 when they travel to Bideford tonight (ko 7.45pm), in the Southern League Challenge Cup first round.

Their last victory in 90 minutes was against Winchester City in the FA Cup, which was followed by a penalty shootout win over Willand Rovers in the preliminary round of the Challenge Cup (having drawn 2-2).

The Peacocks have also drawn their last four matches in the league, leaving them nine points behind leaders Poole Town.

They have only suffered one defeat in their last 10 games, though, away to National League South side Havant & Waterlooville in the FA Cup.

Their North Devon hosts won their first match in six on Saturday, beating AFC Totton 2-1, to sit 11th in Division 1 Central of the Southern League.

Taunton won the pre-season match between the sides 1-0 at the Cygnet Health Care Stadium, thanks to Jack Rice-Lethaby's strike.

Rice-Lethaby went out on loan to Bideford, scoring five goals in four games for them, but has now returned to the Peacocks.

He will be in the squad for tonight's match, alongside several Bridgwater & Taunton College prospects, but Nick Grimes (injury) and Shane White (suspension) miss out.

The Peacocks are also without Bradley Webb, who came in on loan from Bristol City, but has cut short that spell and now been loaned out to Yate Town in order to get more game time.

Following this match, Taunton host Farnborough – beaten 7-0 by Tiverton Town at the weekend – in Saturday's league fixture (ko 3pm).
