TAUNTON RFC managed to put out a fourth senior team on Saturday, and came away 33-15 winners against a very hard-working Martock side.
The players were a mixture of young, old and older, who enjoy the fun of playing in Somerset 3 South, but this was a league fixture and they all worked extremely hard to grind out the victory.
Tries were scored by Neil Symons, Damian Pollard, Richard Watts, Chris Wand, Rob Harwood, with four conversions by Rob Miller.
Captain Neil Symons said: “This is the first time in my 30 years at the club that four senior teams were all playing on the same weekend.
“Thank you very much to all the players who were begged to turn out for one more match.”
