THE wet weather affected the Invest SouthWest Taunton Saturday League schedule at the weekend, but two matches were played on the Castle Sports Centre 3G pitch.
Both games ended with the home team beating their West Somerset visitors, with Galmington seeing off Alcombe Rovers 5-0 in Division 1, and White Eagles beating Minehead AFC Reserves in Division 2.
Galmington's victory was their first in the league this season, and came courtesy of goals from Bradley Palmer (2), Max Davis and Samuel Briggs.
For White Eagles, this was a second consecutive win, with Artur Jacaszek (2) and Postolache Claudiu-Mihaita netting for them.
