TAUNTON Titans head coach Tony Yapp has urged his side to take the same intensity from last weekend’s win into tomorrow’s trip to Dings Crusaders (ko 3pm).

The Titans convincingly beat Barnes 48-19 at the Towergate Stadium and rose to second in the National 2 South standings as a result.

They now make the short hop to Bristol to play a side sat eighth, with five wins and five losses to date.

Yapp said: “This will have a local derby feel to it and Dings will raise their game.

“We need to make sure we are as accurate and clinical as we were last weekend.

“We have a run of games now against mid-table sides but we know that if we take our foot off the pedal we will be punished.”

Yapp, who believes Dings’ artificial pitch may suit his side’s running rugby, is hoping to name a similar squad to that which beat Barnes.

Freddie Fraser is back in contention after injury and could come in for Aron Struminski, who is unavailable.

Elsewhere tomorrow, Wellington host Tiverton and Wiveliscombe entertain Wadebridge Camels, both in Western Counties West.

Somerset Premier side Minehead Barbarians are at home to Weston-super-Mare 2nds.
