YESTERDAY we reflected on Galmington Netball Club's successful 2019/20 season.
Taunton Netball Club’s eight senior teams also had a positive year.
Vivary finished seventh and Tone ninth in South West Regional League 3, so Tone are waiting to hear what will happen with relegation play-offs.
Monmouth came second in Somerset Division 1 (and so are hopeful of promotion), and Quantock fifth, while Priory and Blackdown finished sixth and seventh, respectively, in Division 2.
Tudor placed sixth in Somerset Division 3 and Brendon bottom of Division 4, but provided a good pathway to senior netball for the club’s youngsters, with all of the Under-16 players making at least one senior appearance this season.
This week also saw Taunton NC announce that it had raised £1,358.18 (including gift aid) for Love Musgrove.
Members donated what they were not spending (match fees, fuel for commuting, meals out and so on), to help the charity of Musgrove Park Hospital at this challenging time for the NHS.
