FIXTURES for this season's Vitality Blast and Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy - a 50-over women's tournament - have now been released.

Somerset will begin their T20 campaign away to Birmingham Bears on Friday, August 28, and face local rivals Gloucestershire on Sunday, September 13 (home) and Sunday, September 20 (away).

Somerset are in the Central group alongside Birmingham, Glamorgan, Gloucestershire, Northants Steelbacks and Worcestershire Rapids, and should they progress from the group they will take part in the quarter-finals on Thursday, October 1.

Vitality Blast Finals Day will take place at Edgbaston on Saturday, October 3 - at the culmination of a 10-day period that will also see the Bob Willis Trophy final held at Lord’s from Wednesday, September 23, and the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy final played on Saturday, September 26.

All matches are set to be played behind closed doors, but Somerset's trip to Worcestershire on September 3 will be broadcast on Sky Sports, and all of Somerset's T20 home matches will be made available via the club's live streaming service
