DID you play basketball for The Castle School or Heathfield Community School 20 years ago?
Those schools went head-to-head back in 2001, in the final of the McDonald’s Under-15 Schools Basketball Tournament.
The final was hosted by SCAT (Somerset College of Arts and Technology - now part of Bridgwater & Taunton College), with Castle taking the win.
The Castle team (pictured above, from left to right) were: back row - Charlotte Priestly, Emma Jones, Sarah Melville, Sarah Rice, Hannah Kerr; front row - Stacey Billett, Claire Salter, Sarah Knowles, Hannah Upsher.
The beaten finalists from Heathfield (left to right) were: back row - Flora Darch, Emma Lown, Hollie Labunsey, Natasha Bibby; front row - Lucy Needs, Anna Bartlett, Mel Amor, Phoebe Gange.
