SOMERSET were frustrated by the weather as their Royal London One Day Cup match at Nottinghamshire was abandoned.
The umpires called a halt to proceedings at the Welbeck Colliery CC ground, in Nettleworth, with the home side on 92 for 2 after 21 overs.
It was not a good day for former Somerset favourite Peter Trego.
Batting at number three for Notts, he was out LBW to the promising Sonny Baker after facing just 23 balls.
Skipper Ben Green was the other Somerset wicket taker, accounting for opener Sol Budinger in the second over of the match.
Green had earlier won the toss and elected to field.
The visitors used six bowlers.
Both teams collected one point, while Somerset remain one of only two unbeaten sides in their league.
