SOMERSET spinner Jack Leach has been added to the England Cricket squad for the final Test of the series against India.
England Men’s Head Coach Chris Silverwood named his 16-player squad for the fifth LV= Insurance Test match against India starting at Emirates Old Trafford on Friday 10 September 2021.
Leach joins fellow Somerset bowler Craig Overton in the England squad.
This will be a chance for Leach to impress England selectors for future matches, in the past Leach has taken 62 wickets in 16 test matches for his country.
The former Bishops Fox's School student made his England debut in 2018 against New Zealand.
Lancashire wicketkeeper-batsman Jos Buttler also returns to the squad following the birth of his daughter during the fourth Test at the Kia Oval.
