WELLS City were 3-2 victors in the local derby with Shepton Mallet last night.
The match in the Somerset Senior Cup was very entertaining for the fans with five goals however the bragging rights go to Wells.
Goals for Wells came through Charlie Crook, Charlie Moon and the winner was scored by Sam Stone.
For Shepton Mallet, Alessandro Costanza and Dawid Regula were the goal scorers.
Man of the match went to Sam Stone for his performance and of course, scoring the winning goal for Wells.
This weekend both teams return to league actions, Wells City take on Hengrove Athletic at home in the Toolstation Western League Division One.
Shepton Mallet travel to Ilfracombe for their match on Saturday in the Toolstation Western League Premier Division.
Both matches kick off at 3pm.
