WIVELISCOMBE RFC held their 150th Gala Dinner with a gathering of 230 players, officials and guests in a marquee at the club recently.
The guests were greeted with drinks and canapés followed by a three-course Dinner prepared by Lauren Bristow and her assistants which was enjoyed by those present.
Trophies were presented to players and members of the club for achievement and dedication throughout the season.
Those receiving awards were First Player of the Season was Sam Habberfield, Second Player of Season was Elliott Derek and Most Improved Player was Ashley Irvine.
The Trevor Coates memorial Cup for best breakthrough Player of the Season was award to Toby Tisshaw, the Women's Player of Season was claimed by Jess Weaver.
The Volunteer of the Season was picked up the Saturday Morning gang, Supporter of Season Benji Stevens and Clubman of the Season Stewart Norman.
An auction took place after the award ceremonies with various donated items and services which was well supported by those present.
The evening continued with entertainment from the Haus Band with drinks and dancing bringing an end to a very enjoyable evening.
