IT was another busy week of action for bowlers at Taunton Vivary Bowls Club.
Thursday night’s matches in the WSBL saw a similar pattern to last week for Taunton Vivary teams.
Saying that though, this week the B team had the better of it, winning on all 3 rinks for the full 12 points, which took them to the top of the league table.
At home to North Petherton B, Roger Berry’s rink won 22 v 9, Alan Webb won 24 v 19, and Phil Hartley won 19 v 15.
The A team were also at home against North Petherton A, but lost on one rink, to pick up 10 points in a 62 v 41 victory.
Alvin Affleck 25 v 10, Dan Winmill 27 v 14, Tim Hemburrow 10 v 17. This leaves the A team in third place in the league.
The C team were not so fortunate, going down 34 v 68 away at Bridgwater Victoria Park.
