IT was a tough week for the Taunton Vivary bowls teams as they lost all their matches in the latest round of the WSBL.
Between them, they had only one winning rink and one drawn rink to show for their efforts.
League leaders the B team lost away at Burnham by 62 v 41, but picked up 2 points for one winning rink.
The drawn rink for 1 point came in the A team’s away defeat at North Petherton B by 63 v 42.
The C team were at home, but lost by 34 v 64 against Taunton Deane C.
However, Saturday’s Somerset County league matches brought wins for both Vivary teams in action.
The B team maintained their recent good form, dropping only one point for one drawn rink in a 68 v 49 away win at Wyrral Park.
The C team were at home to Victoria Park (Bridgwater) and won by 60 v 47 for 10 points.
