THE Thursday WSB League matches drew to a close with mixed results for Taunton Vivary teams last week.
The A team won away at Wellington B by 60 v 33 for 10 points, which saw them finish in third place in the first division.
The B team had a close match at home to Watchet, winning by 54 v 52 for 9 points which secured a top half finish in the same first division.
The C team winning run came to an end with a defeat by 40 v 55 away to Bridgwater B for 2 points.
They finished the season in 8th place in the second division, but with a very creditable record of 6 wins in 11 matches.
Saturday’s matches in the County League brought a clean sweep of victories for Vivary.
The A team beat second place Ilminster A by 67 v 58 for 8 points to close the gap in the table. The A team were the only side in the top 4 to win.
The B team maintained their lead in the division by winning 57 v 51 at Ilminster C, for 10 points.
