TAUNTON Deane BC held its annual Crockford Cup and Blackbrook Shield competitions on Sunday, August 6.
Sixty bowlers took to the rinks, cheered on by supporters.
12 triples teams contested the Crockford Cup on the outdoor rinks and 12 pairs teams contested the Blackbrook Shield indoors.
They played four games each and enjoyed a Bowlers' Tea of sandwiches and cream scones at the end.
The winners of the Crockford Cup were Tony Wiscombe, Nicola Litchfield and Tony Hardiman.
The winners of the Blackbrook Shield were Hugh Rodger and Tony Stone.
Taunton Deane Men's C team have won the second division of the West Somerset Bowls League and are now promoted to the first division. The first time a C team has achieved that feat.
The Deane have also achieved success in two recent mixed outdoor friendly games, beating Tiverton West End 73 - 48 and the Masons 64 - 50.
