A CRICKET bash involving current Somerset players and some names from the past took to the field for a Max Waller testimonial match.
And another blast from the past, the County Gazette's long-serving former photographer was there to catch the action.
The match pitted Somerset's T20 champions side against a past players XI.
Max made his Somerset debut in 2009 and played a major role in the county's successful one day side, although his first class appearances were more limited.
But in all formats he took almost 200 wicket for Somerset before his retirement in 2022.
He was an accomplished fielder and also scored two double hundreds for the county's second eleven.
