TAUNTON Town FC head of football Rob Dray has been named Manager of the Month in the Vanarama National League South for the month of September.
Dray picked up the award after a very strong month which saw the Peacocks reach top of the table.
The Peacocks were unbeaten in the League during the month as they secured three wins from four games, reaching the highest ever position in the club's history.
Dray said that while the award is a big achievement, he felt it has been a team effort behind the recent success at Taunton Town.
He said: "Single accolades are very nice and flattering but I’m only ever as good as the staff around me.
"Matt, Conns, Steve, Tony and Eddie all deserve credit and not forgetting Karl who does marvellous things for the group, the analysts and media, and finally the players, massively punching above expectations in a tough league. They have been fantastic in whatever is thrown at them.”
