TAUNTON Town will welcome Hampton and Richmond Borough to Wordsworth Drive this Saturday, October 21.

It will be the Peacocks' first match in two weeks after a enforced break due to the FA Cup round last week.

In the time off, Rob Dray said the team used the extra time to rest and recuperate.

"We have had a quieter week this week and get ourselves prepped for Hampton. We had quite a few injuries to sort out in the squad," Dray said.

Hampton currently sit in fifteenth place on the National League South table and are on a two-game winning run.

Coming off the back of a 4-3 win over Dartford and a 2-1 win against Havant & Waterlooville, this Hampton side will be riding high ahead of the fixture.

However, Taunton will be more than up for it after a week off and will be looking to continue their strong home form this season. The Peacocks have won five and drawn one of their six home games so far.

The match kicks off at 3pm at Wordsworth Drive. Get down and support your local side.
