TAUNTON Town fans were left confused recently when rivals Tiverton Town confirmed the signing of Elliott Dugan.
The striker was announced as a Taunton Town player on September 23 and made some substitute appearances for the Peacocks during early October.
However, on October 20, the well-travelled forward was confirmed as Tiverton Town's latest signing.
The Yellows interim manager Richard Pears said: “I am delighted to get Elliott on board. He has been training with a National League South team and I have been keeping tabs on him, hoping that he would become available.
“I’m very excited to have him with us. He is a strong, striker that is hungry to score goals and wants to develop his career."
Dugan looked like a good addition to the Peacocks squad and when he was on the pitch looked strong and at the National League South level.
However the forward has chosen to step down a level to compete for Tiverton Town, which in part, is what confused Peacocks fans.
