TAUNTON Town FC have confirmed that this afternoon’s (Saturday, November 4) Vanarama National League South home game with Farnborough has been postponed.

The match has been called off due to a waterlogged pitch.

A 9am pitch inspection confirmed the worst following more rain overnight.

The club has confirmed that a revised date for the game will be announced in due course.

A spokesperson said: "Any tickets purchased online will be valid for the rescheduled fixture but if a refund is required please email support@fanbaseclub.com

"The clubhouse bar will still be open today from 12.15pm for the live Premiership game."

The Peacocks are next scheduled to be in action on Tuesday evening at home to Street in the Somerset Premier Cup, ko 7.45pm.
