TAUNTON Town's head of football Rob Dray has said this past week has been tough for the club after a 3-0 loss away at Havant and Waterlooville and losing defender Jay Foulston.

Dray said on the defeat: "The decision making was the most disappointing for me to be honest, usually we are good at those sorts of things but we were so far off in the match.

"As a performance, that has been our worst this season, very disappointed with certain aspects of the match."

Speaking on losing Jay Foulston, Dray said: "It is a massive loss, no doubt about it but it absolutely goes with my blessing.

"I am sure he will kick on again, he is a super player and a great lad. He will be fine at that level and the next level."

Of course, Taunton will look to replace Foulston, but Dray agreed it would be a challenge.

"I don't think you can find another Jay Foulston, it is difficult to find left-sided defenders but we are certainly looking around.

"We are constantly looking to bring in players but yes there is certain constraints at the moment."
