TAUNTON Town have lost another attacking player after Malachi Linton has been recalled to his parent club.

The striker has been called back to Yeovil Town after joining the Peacocks in July, 2023.

The 23-year-old joined the Peacocks on loan in July and has made a handful of appearances netting once in the league and also in the Somerset Premier Cup.

A spokesperson from Taunton Town said: "Striker Malachi Linton’s loan period with the club has ended and he has returned to his parent club Yeovil Town.

"Linton joined the Peacocks just before the commencement of the season but his involvement has been hampered by injury.

"We would like to thank Malachi for his efforts whilst with the club and wish him well for the future."

And a Yeovil Town spokesperson added: "We can confirm Malachi Linton has been recalled from his loan spell with Taunton Town.

"Malachi Linton is back at Huish Park, aiming to secure additional playing time as we explore the possibility of another loan move for him."
