TAUNTON Town's National League South match set for tonight, January 16, has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
The weather has been on or below freezing over the past couple of days in Taunton and after a pitch inspection this morning it was decided the game would have to be called off.
A club spokesperson said: "Following an inspection, this evening’s Vanarama National League South game at home to Slough Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
"A rearranged date for the fixture will be announced in due course. Any tickets already purchased will be valid for the new date but if a refund is required please email support@fanbaseclub.com."
The Peacocks attempt to halt a worrying run of only one win in 13 Vanarama National League South games will have to wait now though as Slough aren't coming to town.
Taunton are next in action on January 20 away from home against Braintree Town.
