SPEAKING after Taunton Town's defeat at home to Weymouth on Tuesday night, head of football Rob Dray said he was disappointed.
The Peacocks lost 0-2 at home and means they are now seven games without a win in all competitions.
"We made enough chances in the first half to kill the game off, and they scored with a proper finish late on in the half," he said
"We played some nice combinations in the other teams half. But we realise we have to be better in both box's at the moment.
"Disappointed, the lads are disappointed too. We need to be more clinical and be more ruthless really."
Nick Grimes made way at half time in the match. Dray said: "He had a tight hamstring, we just have to protect him really and with the size of the squad we have at the moment we are not willing to risk it."
But in terms of going forward, Dray said the team is working behind the scenes on how best to incorporate the new group of players.
"We're stripping things back, asking different people to do different things," he said.
"Trying to understand with all the new lads, their strengths and weaknesses. It is a little bit of a learning curve for quite a few of the youngsters, a baptism of fire for them."
