TAUNTON Town have confirmed that another player has departed the club.
Defender Austen Booth has left the club with immediate effect after transfer interest from another club.
It is not clear at this stage which club that is or who he will move to but Taunton has confirmed he is no longer their player.
A spokesperson said: "We can confirm that Austen Booth has left the club after buying out his contract. The centre half joined Taunton Town in the summer but has not played recently due to transfer interest from another club.
"We would like to thank Austen for his efforts whilst with the Peacocks and wish him well in the future."
Booth signed for the club in May 2023, having had wide ranging experience with a number of non-league clubs.
He enjoyed a solid season to date with the Peacocks and in truth was one of the stand out players across the back line.
