It’s been a busy time at Taunton Town recently off the pitch as two players have left, two have extended their stays and the club has announced two new signings.

The Southern League Premier South side have confirmed that Austen Booth and Nat Williams have both left the club.

Both players returned to the Cygnet Health Care Stadium this season after periods away but Booth is returning to Australia and Williams has mutually agreed with the club to part ways.

A spokesman for the club wished Booth safe travels down under and thanked Williams for his service to the club.

Taunton Town have also confirmed that defender Max Hill has signed a new contract which will keep him at the club until the summer of 2027.

A club spokesman said: “Max has been an important part of the squad since joining from Helston Athletic, and we look forward to seeing his continued progress in the heart of the defence.”

The loan deal for Seidou Sanogo has also been extended, keeping him at the Cygnet until January.

The first of the two new arrivals is a familiar face in Chris Zebroski who returns following a short spell at Yate Town, where he scored three goals.

Zebroski originally joined The Peacocks midway through the 24/25 season and scored four goals in 24 appearances for the Peacocks. He will wear the number 19 shirt.

Winger Noah Rubio has also joined the club from Sporting Club Inkberrow.

Rubio is a graduate of Kidderminster Harriers, where he featured in two first-team FA Cup squads before making his National League debut on the final day of the 2023/24 campaign. He also impressed during loan spells at Leek Town and Worcester Raiders, scoring five goals and providing five assists in just 10 appearances for the Raiders.

This season at Inkberrow, he has contributed seven goals and 11 assists. Rubio will wear the number 17 shirt.

Zebroksi made a starting return to the side in the 3-2 defeat to Bracknell Town while Rubio was on the bench.
