Taunton Town have confirmed that Nick Grimes and Lloyd Irish have been appointed joint caretaker managers following the departure of Richard Luffman.
Luffman, who held the post since the summer of 2024, resigned following the Peacocks’ 3-0 defeat at Evesham United on Saturday (December 13).
The club have now confirmed that Grimes, still a player for Taunton Town, and former goalkeeper Irish will take over first team affairs in the short term.
A club spokesman said: “We are pleased to announce that Nick Grimes and Lloyd Irish have been appointed Caretaker Managers of Taunton Town F.C.
“The pair will oversee the management of the first team on an interim basis until the process to appoint a new manager is complete.
“We look forward to seeing the Peacocks get behind Nick and Lloyd on Saturday at Yate Town.”
