Taunton Town have announced the signing of a new wing back ahead of their trip to Berkhamsted Town on Saturday (February 14).
Dylan Jones has joined the Peacocks on a free transfer from fellow Southern League Premier South outfit Gloucester City.
Jones featured 22 times for Gloucester this season, scoring once against Berkhamsted, helping the side keep seven clean sheets, and was named Gloucester City’s Player of the Month for October.
The 24-year-old can also be utilised as an attacking winger on either side of the forward line.
Jones’ career has seen him feature for fellow Southern League Premier South side Tiverton Town last season, having previously played for Cinderford Town, Hereford, Merthyr Town, Salisbury, Cardiff City U23s, and JD Cymru South side Taffs Well, which he joined at the age of 16.
He will join the squad for the match on Saturday when the side hope to move out of the drop zone.
