Taunton Town get their Southern League Premier South campaign underway on Saturday (August 8) as they travel to Hanworth Villa. Kick-off is at 3pm.
The Peacocks travel to Middlesex to face new opponents at this level after their hosts were promoted from the Isthmian League South Central Division via the play-offs.
Taunton themselves managed to avoid relegation last season with a game to spare and will be hoping for a much higher finish this season.
The Peacocks have made some additions to the squad, with Freddie Godden returning for a loan spell from Bristol City and Gabe Billington signing for his hometown club after a successful trial over the summer. Phil Mendonca, who originally signed for the club in 2023, has returned to the club after recovering from injuries.
The club has also announced three other signings this week with Harry Watts, Sam Lord, and Jack Anthony joining.
Watts graduated from the Cardiff City Academy, Lord joins after his departure from Plymouth Argyle, and Anthony is at the club on a work experience deal from Exeter City.
Taunton Town’s first home game comes on Tuesday (August 11) as they entertain Malvern Town – another side promoted to the league.
Kick-off is at 7.45pm.
