SOMERSET get the new season underway today and skipper Justin Langer has spoken of his burning ambition to lead the side to a first County Championship title.
The Cidermen take on Warwickshire at the County Ground in their opening championship fixture, which starts this morning at 11am.
Langer said: "My dream would be to actually hand back to Somerset supporters that championship cup.
"I have been thinking about for a couple of years and before I retire I would love to do that.
"I know just how passionate Somerset supporters are about the club and we get an incredible following wherever we go."
