TAUNTON Deane made it back-to-back wins with a thumping ten-wicket victory away to Glastonbury in the West of England League's Premier One on Saturday.
For the second week running, South Afrian overseas player Devon Conway hit an unbeaten score in the 90s as Deane easily overcame Glastonbury’s 167 all out.
The one-sided result also maintains promoted Deane’s unbeaten start to the season.
The wickets were shared around as the hosts struggled in the face of some tight bowling, although spinner Jack Leach secured the stand-out figures.
He conceded just eight runs from 11 overs and picked up two wickets, while paceman Russell Jones bagged 2-40.
When Deane replied, the result was never in doubt as Conway and openeing partner, Somerset professional Chris Jones, got going. Conway finished on 97 not out from just 95 balls while Jones made 66 not out.
