ATHLETICS: Running Forever quintet tackle Dartmoor ultra marathon

FIVE members of the Running Forever Running club completed the gruelling Dartmoor Discovery 32.4 mile ultra marathon on Saturday.

Weather conditions were cool with some heavy rain during the race which is held on a very hilly circular route,starting and finishing in Princetown.

Richard Staunton, running the race for the seventh time, was first home for the club in 5hrs 36m 45s followed by Emma Greig (5hr 43m 42s), Peter Hall (6hr 15m 43s), Mike Nicholls (6hr 18m 32s) and Jon Sparks (6hr 36m 10s).
