MINEHEAD'S 125th season starts for real tomorrow when Bridgwater Town Reserves are the visitors for the opening Somerset County League Premier Division match (3pm).
That is hotly followed by an interesting early fixture against Berrow, who in the past have started seasons very brightly.
They will line up against the Blues at The Rec on Tuesday evening for a 7.45pm kick-off.
Watchet begin their opening sequence of away matches in the same division with a tough test tomorrow against Frys Club.
Frys finished one place below them in fourth in last season’s league table.
On Wednesday evening the Red & Blacks make the much shorter trip to play Bishops Lydeard (6.30pm).
